Free pattern

The following pattern is a stylized version of the entry to our original shop in the fortified farm Le Rouvray in Normandy. It was the inspiration for our logo.

Le Rouvray block

Finished size 3" 1/2 x 4" 3/8


Print the following block and enlarge it until the required size. Cut apart templates and label them.

Materials: scraps of red, green, and off-white prints and a green solid. (The block pictured includes an off-white print with metallic gold hearts).

Cutting

From the red print:

  • 1 of each F, M

From the green print:

  • 2 of each G, H, I, C
  • 1 of K

From the off-white print:

  • 1 of each A, A reversed, D, D reversed, E, L, N
  • 2 of each C, J

From the green solid print:

  • 1 of each B, B reversed

Assembling the block

1. Piece the block as shown:

Make one

2. Appliqué pieces L, M and N

3. Layer the block with batting and backing, baste

4. Quilt as desired. Bind the edges or frame the block.
